L'exposition canine

The dog show is a beauty contest allowing purebred dog owners, breeders or individuals, to come together to have the aesthetic qualities of their dog assessed.

There are 2 types of dog shows: shows (national and international) for all breeds and national/regional breeding shows.

However, a little preparation is necessary for the dog. To be appreciated during the judging, he will have to know how to walk on a relaxed leash and at several paces, he will have to know how to stand statically upright, ignore the different imitations present in the ring and around the ring, and will have to let himself be handled by a person. unknown.

At the end of the judgment, the dog will receive a classification, and a qualifier, and according to its class will be able to compete for the title of beauty.

The hunt

All our dogs take part in tests specific to retrievers, designated by the term "hunting" because these are the basics of education to make a good retriever dog, teach patience and wisdom at the post, as well as observation. These tests allow us to know the capacities of our dogs.

The Sweet Loving Labs Labradors all pass their TAN (natural aptitude test), as well as their A then B selective. The BICP is a plus.

If the skills are good, he will enter the Field Trial.

We are also subject to work in Working Test, to continue and maintain the learning and achievements of our dogs.

The work is done in the plain, in the forest, and in the water.

Obedience, in competition

In addition to hunting, we practice obedience. All our dogs hold their CSAU (Certificate of Sociability and Aptitude for Use), an essential diploma to enter a discipline, competition level, such as Obedience.

What is Obedience?

The objective of Obedience is to allow all dog owners to better understand and communicate with them, through simple exercises, without constraints and accessible to all, in order to live in total complicity with their companion.

The dog must show, at work, its availability, its flexibility in obeying the commands, its enthusiasm and its speed in the execution; and one must always see a cheerful, united and harmonious team.

There are several levels of competitions and qualifiers to obtain.
